We can provide bespoke/custom made items made to order. For over 34 years we have specialised in producing hardwood items to client's individual specifications.

Our timber Shelves, Solid Wood Table Tops, Counter Tops and Bespoke Solid Wood tables are supplied top sanded, ready for a finishing product/surface treatment to be applied by you.

Alongside our hand crafted Table Tops, Worktops and Bar Tops we produce to order shelving and window boards for kitchens, bedrooms, offices and sitting rooms. We can produce fireplace shelves and bespoke window boards to unusual sizes in one piece or jointed from several pieces to make larger widths and lengths as required.

We can provide Waney Edged (Natural Live Edge) (Wood Slab) (Live Edge Wood) (Live Edge Timber) or Straight Edged Boards for Wooden Wall Hanging Coat & Hat Hooks, Wooden Coat Hooks and Wooden Hook Racks.

Planed and sanded ready for you to attach your own hooks and apply your own finishing product; let us know what size you would like, we can quote for delivery, just provide your postcode.

For quoting purposes you just email us the following information:

Provide the finished size/sizes you require and the quantity of shelving needed for your project.
For shelves and window boards tell us if you want straight edges or waney edges on the front or back.
Tell us if your shelves be floating, will be on battens so your require battens in the same timber as the shelving or will you be using your own shelving brackets.
Do you want the top face sanded or both sides top and bottom sanded? Tell us which edges you require sanded and we can quote to provide shelves and window boards ready for you to apply a finishing product of your choice to; you then fit them into your chosen location.
For Wooden Wall Hanging Hooks tell us the length and height you would like, and whether you require waney edges or straight edges.
If you will be unable to collect just provide your post code and we can work out delivery options and costs for you.

For floating shelves and Wooden Wall Hanging Hooks it is usual to drill and fit onsite after delivery. We supply the timber to your bespoke sizes with or without battens; we do not supply fixings or wood treatments and finishing products.

If you have a special project in mind with unusual sizes and require shelving, window boards or boards for coat hooks with Waney Edges (Natural Live Edge), Straight Edges or specialist detailing please contact us, we will be happy to provide a quotation.

Bespoke

We are inspired by the phrase ‘… Form follows function…’ the shape of a building or an object, such as a Shelf or Window Board, should primarily relate to its intended function and intended purpose and this should be the starting point for its design. Good quality hand-craftsmanship will produce an aesthetically pleasing Window Board, Shelves, Staircase, Mantle, Oak Beam or Oak Frame Building. When hand crafting items for you we choose the raw material for you and produce each item as if it were for our own home.

When quoting we are pricing for timber and slabs which have been seasoned and are suitable for furniture making, we do not sell freshly sawn timber (wet timber) for furniture making usage. Freshly sawn timber is available for a variety of uses, please ask us if you require this.

We are happy to discuss your project requirements and choose your timber for you based upon decades of experience, we not only produce timber we have always produced a range of bespoke timber items.

Your email enquiry is important to us; we do receive high numbers of emails and calls, we aim to respond within 1-4 days.

On some occasions it may take longer than this to reply, please remember that we will be looking at boards to find 'the one or many', just right for you. If your project requirements are detailed and specific and if enquiry demand is high, this process may take around 7 days.

Due to the volume of enquiries we receive on a daily basis we do not communicate with clients via Facebook or Instagram, these accounts are used to occasionally post images of our Interesting Timber and Timber Products.
